    1. How tolerant is your home country of foreigners? Give examples, personal or general, showing instances of both tolerance and intolerance.

    2. Are claims to cultural identity overly protected? In other words, if a person that is from one culture identifies as another culture, should this claimed identity be respected? For example, a popular white British influencer named Oli London “came out” as Korean, revealing he has “transitioned” and now identifies as Korean (Brown, 2021). Should he be considered Korean? Any nationality can fit into this prompt for the sake of discussion!

    3. Recently there have been strong arguments against accepting immigrants and refugees. Describe some of these arguments, and discuss whether they are valid. (For this topic, the unit on religion (Unit 7) and education (Unit 8) can be used to give you some ideas!)
