Using a database permalink is important for two reasons. 1) you may need to include it in your citation, and 2) it is a great way to ensure you are able to find the same article again. Remember that the URL at the top of the page will not work for anything you need to sign into. Because you need to sign into the library system in order to search all of the databases, it's helpful to find the permalink.
Permalinks in EBSCO databases
- Select the title of an item listed on your search results page.
- Click
(located in the item's record in the far right-hand column). - A box containing the permalink will appear at the top of the webpage.
- Highlight, copy, and paste the URL into your notes.
