    ¿Por dónde empezar?

    Existen diferentes maneras de comenzar a documentar observaciones; no hay un enfoque único que funcione para todos. Probar algunas estrategias distintas puede ser útil, especialmente si es nuevo en el proceso. La estructura de un programa y las preferencias individuales de los cuidadores pueden influir en qué estrategia de documentación resulta más adecuada.

    Ya sea que realice una observación planificada o espontánea, tener herramientas esenciales a la mano favorece una implementación exitosa.

    Cuando sea posible, mantenga los siguientes elementos cerca:

    Algo para escribir

    • papel, notas adhesivas, tarjetas de índice codificadas por color, portapapeles, cuaderno

    note pad, post it notes, clipboard

    Algo con qué escribir

    • bolígrafos de tinta de colores, marcadores Sharpie

    pens and penciles, colored pens, sharpie pens

    Algo con qué registrar

    • cámara fotográfica, cámara de video, grabadora de audio

    tape recorder, camera and video camera

    Un cuidador debe estar preparado para documentar a medida que ocurren los eventos. Al llevar estos elementos en el bolsillo de un delantal o colocarlos estratégicamente alrededor del aula para un acceso rápido, el cuidador siempre tendrá a su alcance herramientas útiles para crear documentación.[1]
