- 10.1: The Importance of Listening
- Listening is an active process by which we make sense of, assess, and respond to what we hear.
- 10.2: Understanding How and Why We Listen
- Listening is the learned process of receiving, interpreting, recalling, evaluating, and responding to verbal and nonverbal messages. In this section we will learn more about each stage of the listening process, the main types and styles of listening.
