    1. How did a speaker’s delivery, rather than their content, affect your attention, understanding, or engagement in a recent presentation, conversation, or online video?
    2. How would your delivery change if you presented the same message in a classroom, a workplace conversation, and on Zoom, and which elements would need the most adjustment?
    3. How does a speaker’s use of notecards, notes, or a phone influence your perception of their credibility and preparedness, and when do notes become distracting?
    4. Which part of nonverbal delivery, such as eye contact, gestures, posture, facial expression, or movement, is most challenging for you right now, and what is one realistic way you could improve it?
    5. Based on this chapter, what does effective practice look like for speech delivery, and which practice strategy would most improve your own performance?
