    Persuasive Theories: Monroe's Motivated Sequence

    As we've learned, persuasion is one of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal. Previously in this text, we discussed general guidelines for organizing persuasive speeches. In this section, we are going to look at another organizational pattern that is ideally suited for persuasive speeches: Monroe’s motivated sequence.
