- Many times, students resort to their "go to" online research strategies like Google but the library provides a wealth of information. It's important to learn how to use it.

- If a student does research on the Internet, it's important do know how to do it well.

- Up to this point, we have discussed finding secondary sources or primary sources that are published. It is also possible for you to use some truly firsthand research in your speeches.
- 6.5: Decide When to Cite
- It's not important enough to do credible research. You also need to have a plan for how you will identify your sources to your audience. Otherwise, they have no idea if you used appropriate information or not.
- 6.6: Other Resources and Chapter Activities
- Students and faculty can find additional resources and learning activities to supplement the chapter's reading material.
