Career exploration and decision-making is built upon the foundation of personal self-knowledge. If you do not know yourself, how can you possibly know what you want to do for a career? In this part of the course, you will be taking several career assessments to understand yourself better and make informed choices when researching your career options. These assessments will help identify your personality preferences and workplace strengths and then direct you toward professions that best complement your unique personality. You also will identify your values, underlying needs and motivations then make connections between your internal self-knowledge and your future career vision (Martinez & Shaker, 2021).
