Agencies and organizations must ensure that clearances are obtained in accordance with the Child Protective Services Law (CPSL). The required clearances may include:

You will need to obtain updated clearances by the time the Practicum starts. Clearances can be obtained at: https://www.dhs.pa.gov/keepkidssafe/Pages/default.aspx

Click on “clearances.” You will need the clearances required by your practicum site. Check with your practicum site to see if they will allow submission of the free volunteer clearances, or if they require the clearances for employees.
