This is accomplished through the pursuit of answering the questions of who you are as an educator and what strengths do you bring to your classroom, as well as, am I being as effective as I would like to be ( (ANDREW J. STREMMEL, 2015). This requires one to engage in a cycle of self-reflection with the goal of evaluating their own practices with a critical eye. Becoming the educator you want to be is an ongoing process (Kolb, 2005).
In order to answer the question “Am I the ECE educator I want to be?,” one should break the question down into a series of incremental questions (ANDREW J. STREMMEL, 2015; Grossman, 2001).
