    Meaningful integration of AI into teaching doesn’t come from tools alone—it comes from intentional reflection. These prompts can help instructors evaluate their goals, refine their practices, and deepen their understanding of how AI supports (or challenges) student learning.

    🧠 Reflect on Your Teaching Philosophy

    • How do I define meaningful learning in my classroom, and how can AI support that?
    • What do I want students to retain from this course—content, skills, habits of mind?
    • Does AI help me personalize instruction, or does it risk making it impersonal?

    ⚖️ Reflect on Equity and Inclusion

    • Whose needs are met—and whose might be overlooked—by using this tool?
    • Are all my students able to access and benefit from this AI-enhanced content?
    • How can I invite feedback from students who experience learning differently?

    🔍 Reflect on Transparency and Communication

    • Have I clearly communicated how AI is used in my course?
    • What assumptions might my students have about AI that I need to clarify?
    • How can I model responsible and ethical AI use through my teaching?

    📈 Reflect on Growth and Practice

    • What’s one small way I’ve used AI that has improved student learning or made my teaching easier?
    • What’s one AI-related challenge I’ve encountered—and what did I learn from it?
    • How can I stay informed about emerging tools, policies, or pedagogical strategies?


    🎓 Why This Matters for Instructors

    Reflection keeps your AI use rooted in purpose—not just possibility. When instructors regularly step back to consider the impact of AI on their students, their teaching, and their values, they make room for deeper learning and more authentic engagement in an evolving digital landscape.
