In chapter one, we discussed the principles of ethical communication and our responsibility to implement them in interview situations. Some of the qualities of an ethical and effective informational interview include:
- Empathy
- Respect
- Honesty
- Curiosity
- Patience
These qualities should characterize the way we approach informational interviews and will enable both the interviewee and interviewer to achieve their goals. Another type of interview in which these qualities are applicable is the persuasive interview.
