    Minimizing Overstimulation

    The classroom should balance simplicity and organization. Avoiding clutter and limiting the number of activities or materials prevents infants and toddlers from becoming overwhelmed. This includes having fewer, clearly defined activity stations and using soft, soothing lighting. A visually calming environment with minimalistic decorations is preferable to one overly cluttered with bright colors and numerous displays. These measures help foster a space where toddlers can comfortably explore, learn, and grow in a setting that resonates with their developmental needs [1].
