Final Reflections
You have reached the end of this OER and this course, and now is the time for a final comprehensive reflection. This final reflection is designed for you to synthesize the information we’ve discussed throughout the semester and examine where you are in your career decision-making process.
Please explain and discuss your answers to the following questions in your reflection:
- Did you have to change or refine your goal at any point in this semester? If so, how? If not, what factors contributed to strengthening your original goal?
- What personal “Career Growth" did you experience this semester?
- What were your two favorite assessments and/or activities and why?
- What is your take-away from your informational interviews? Please attach the names, job titles, company/organizations and contact information as well as copies of your “thank you” emails for each interview.
- Where are you now in your career decision process and what are Your Next Steps? (i.e. do more research, declare/change major, research transfer schools, apply for graduation, clinicals)
- How will you celebrate if you accomplished a goal of narrowing down your career choices and/or actually choosing a career path? If you didn’t narrow down or choose a path, how will you continue to make progress toward this goal after this semester?
