When you call or email the agency, you will want to be prepared. First, do some research about the agency and think about how you will add value to their mission. Have a resume prepared ahead of time. Also, it will help you to review HACC’s libguide for tips on how to prepare: https://libguides.hacc.edu/careerguide/internships Be sure to ask if the agency will consider supervising a practicum student who is earning an Associate’s degree as some agencies will only accept Bachelor- or Master-level students.
