By redesigning courses with Zero Textbook Cost materials, faculty advance affordability while aligning with De Anza’s vision of inclusive excellence and culturally responsive practice.
ZTC materials are designed with accessibility and inclusion at the center. They align with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, incorporate Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, and are reviewed through multiple layers of accessibility checks to ensure barrier-free learning for all students.
