    Introducción a las teorías del desarrollo cognitivo

    Los tres primeros años de la vida de un niño están llenos de primeras experiencias, desde las experiencias sensoriales de la primera infancia hasta las nuevas experiencias que ocurren debido a las habilidades motoras y lingüísticas. ¡Piense en cuan diferentes son las experiencias para un bebé que aún no camina y uno que puede hacerlo de forma independiente! Cada experiencia, ya sea nueva o repetida, fomenta el desarrollo de la cognición. La cognición abarca los procesos de pensamiento y memoria, y el desarrollo cognitivo se trata de los cambios en estos procesos a lo largo del tiempo. En esta sección, aprenderá sobre las principales teorías del desarrollo cognitivo, con especial enfoque en las teorías de Jean Piaget y Lev Vyotsky. [1]
