The dictionary defines "ideas" as a thought or suggestion as to a possible course of action. From circa 1300-1789, there were many 'ideas' that emerged throughout Europe. These were not confined to one location, but would spread out into other continents. Nor did time offer any constraints, since the global community still deals with these philosophies and concepts today.
