Readers are invited to explore a variety of disabilities that may qualify a child for individualized support services. Readers will learn about cognitive, physical, sensory, emotional, and developmental differences, along with the laws and instructional strategies that guide educational practice. Readers will also be invited to identify with the children presented in various scenarios, and to practice helping them learn and become their very best.
