    1. Using the “ME” chart, discuss the different aspects of yourself with a partner. How many different parts of your cultural identity did you make? Be sure to explain each point. For example, if you write “Sister,” are you the oldest in a big family or an only child? How did this impact your relationships with your family?

    2. Exchange your Cultural Descriptor Worksheet with a partner, and use their answers to interview them. The goal is to get them talking about the positive and negative sides of their cultural descriptors. For example, if they wrote, “My culture avoids conflict,” then you can ask, “So, can you explain why your culture avoids conflict? Is this mostly good or bad for people who are not from that culture?”

    3. Review the vocabulary list with a partner or small group. Take turns explaining each word or phrase, and give an example of each one.
