ECD 50 - Early Childhood Principles and Practices, the course you are currently enrolled in, is a survey course. It looks at the broad spectrum of the field. As you continue on your journey through our program, you will take courses that specifically address specific skills and responsibilities. We hope that when you have completed the core 24 units of Early Childhood Development, you will meet the competencies needed to begin your journey as an early childhood professional.
