Las interacciones, las rutinas, los cronogramas diarios, las experiencias y los entornos planificados que tienen en cuenta la cultura, el idioma y los objetivos de las familias para sus hijos “apoyan adecuadamente el desarrollo de cada niño a su ritmo único”.[1]
Este desarrollo es una parte necesaria del trayecto del niño hacia la preparación escolar. Los cuidadores observan, documentan, reflexionan, interpretan, planifican, aplican y evalúan para individualizar los cuidados que responden a cada bebé, niño pequeño y familia. El proceso se ilustra como un ciclo en la figura siguiente.
