Social Psychology explores how people think about, influence, and relate to one another in social situations. Drawing on research and real-world examples, this textbook examines topics such as social cognition, the self, attitudes and persuasion, group behavior, helping and altruism, aggression, prejudice and discrimination, and cooperation and conflict. Students will learn how social psychological principles help explain everyday behaviors and interactions, while developing a deeper understanding of the factors that shape human thoughts, feelings, and actions within social contexts. Through an emphasis on scientific evidence and practical applications, the book provides tools for understanding and improving interpersonal relationships, group processes, and social outcomes.
