    Children in middle childhood undergo significant changes in the growth and development of their brains. During this period of development, children’s bodies are not only growing, but they are also becoming more coordinated and physically capable. These children are more aware of their greater abilities in school and are taking on more responsibility for their health and diet. Some children may be challenged with physical or mental health concerns. It’s essential to understand typical development to identify and support those who are struggling with health concerns.
